At Seedbed Studio, we specialise in scenic design, construction and prop making for theatre, film, television, advertising and live events. Based in Birmingham, West Midlands we combine creativity, craftsmanship and collaboration to bring imaginative ideas to life; on time, on budget and to the highest professional standard.
We pride ourselves on our flexible, client-focused approach, working closely with producers, designers and creative teams to transform concepts into striking constructions.
Our multidisciplinary team includes experts in scenic art, carpentry and prop /sculpture creation, all sharing a passion for storytelling through visual design. Our expertise allows us to take a project seamlessly from concept to completion, ensuring every detail aligns with your creative vision.
OUR STORY
Seedbed Studio was founded by Daniel O’Neill, a scenic designer and artist with over 20 years of experience in the creative industries.
After studying Set Design and Painting at Birmingham City University, Daniel worked across the UK producing murals, sculptures and scenic environments for clients such as Nando’s, Young’s Breweries and numerous London venues with Art Scene Creative.
His career expanded into major theatre and performance projects, including work for Iron Maiden, Sister Act, Swan Lake with the Birmingham Royal Ballet, the Birmingham Rep, UK Productions and Hangman Ltd.
With this foundation of diverse creative experience, Daniel established Seedbed Studio to bring together skilled craftspeople and innovative designers under one roof, dedicated to building spaces that tell stories.
OUR EXPERTISE
